Throwback to this amazing video, where Federico Malaman is covering Speed Damon by Michael Jackson. I remember the first time I saw this, I was completely blown away by his performance. Malaman is known for his virtuoso playing style, and in this video, you can hear why he is one top bass players in the world currently. He is playing on his Laurus bass, which are custom basses made in Italy, where Federico is from.
As we mentioned before, Federico is one of the most outstanding bass players in the world currently. He has performed with many of the world’s top artists, most notably with George Benson, Al Jarreau, Virgil Donati, Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller to name a few.
