Red Hot Chili Peppers Unveil New Album ‘Return of the Dream Canteen’

Red Hot Chili Peppers recently released a new song and music video titled “Tippa My Tongue,” This new song announces the release of Return of the Dream Canteen, the group’s thirteenth full-length album. Return of the Dream Canteen can be pre-ordered/pre-saved HERE.

With “Tippa My Tongue,” the four souther california funk-rock icons are once more operating at full capacity. Its fast-paced alien funk ramps up the tempo thanks to a smooth bass line, a boisterous riff, and an unbreakable rhythm. The accompanying video maintains the band’s history of epic music videos, reflecting the joyful mood they’ve must be in since John rejoined the band.

Just six months after the platinum-selling chart-topper Unlimited Love, the new Chili Peppers album, Return of the Dream Canteen will be released on October 14th.

The latter became the band’s second #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200 and is recognized as the year’s top rock album. For this expansive LP, they once again teamed up with longtime producer and artistic ally Rick Rubin.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will play live at the VMAs on August 28th and will also receive the prestigious Global Icon Award.

The band’s mammoth worldwide stadium tour has already traversed Europe and sold out a number of dates in the United States. The tour now travels through Chicago, Toronto, and other cities before concluding its North American leg on Sunday, September 18 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The tour will continue in January 2023 with performances in Australia and New Zealand.

On a few occasions, the band will be joined by a who’s who of some of the most well-known, influential, and diverse artists from a variety of genres, including HAIM, Beck, Thundercat, The Strokes, King Princess, St. Vincent, and Post Malone.
