I think it is safe to say that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are back! They appear to be teasing an upcoming tune from their highly anticipated album with John Frusciante back in the fold.

While there’s no word on when a full song, or the album, will be released, it doesn’t look like we’ll have to wait long. They have been teasing us quite frequently and recently, bassist Flea uploaded a live video on social media of the band jamming out in a studio (check it out above).
In December 2019, Frusciante returned to the LA funk-rock band, replacing Josh Klinghoffer, marking the return of the classic RHCP lineup.
“John hasn’t been in our group in ten years,” drummer Chad Smith said of the band’s 12th album’s approach back in October. That’s a significant amount of time. Of course, it will sound different, but it will sound like the four of us because we have this unique chemistry together. It sounds like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but it’s unique and different, which I think is fantastic.”
To promote their upcoming album, the band will embark on a massive 2022 world tour, which will kick off in June and run through September.
