If you’ve ever played through the EBS NeoLine 112, you already know it’s a killer little cab. But the folks at EBS just dropped an upgraded Mk2 version, and let’s just say they made all the right tweaks.
So, what’s new?
First off, the cab itself got deeper, literally. They added about 4 extra inches to the depth, and that small change makes a big difference. More low end, more punch, and a fuller sound that projects better in the room. If you’re chasing a cab that sounds way bigger than it looks, this is going to hit the spot.
Next, EBS ditched the old flip handles and gave us a single heavy-duty deep-dish handle. That means no annoying rattles when you crank it, plus it feels way sturdier when you’re hauling it in and out of venues.
They also reworked the tweeter. It’s now isolated and sealed off inside the cab, which cuts down on unwanted noise from all that internal air pressure. Translation: cleaner highs, fewer problems.
And don’t worry about weight. Even with the bigger box, the cab still comes in at just 14.35 kg (31.6 lb) thanks to the neodymium speaker and smart wood choice. Portable, powerful, and ready for the road.
Best part? The price didn’t budge. You’re getting more cab, better design, and extra low-end oomph without spending more than before.
The EBS NeoLine 112 Mk2 is out now, and if you’re after a lightweight, road-ready cab that can punch way above its weight class, this one deserves a serious look.
