NAMM 2021 - Believe in Music Week
Another great surprise at this year’s NAMM Show was all the new basses that came from Cort Guitars. We haven’t been really familiar with their basses but it all changed this year.
They released a number of great and exciting new basses for 2021. They also updated some of their older basses. We can’t wait to test these basses out in person.
Cort Artisan A5 Beyond
The first model from Cort Guitars is going to be the new Artisan A5 Beyond Bass. This instrument carries over the specs from their best selling model, the A5 Plus SCM5. In our opinion, this bass will become their best selling bass, like the predecessor of this bass the A5 Plus. It is an instant classic for sure in their lineup.

Cort GB24JJ
The GB Series has been one of the most popular Cort models for over 20 years! This bass is admired because it caters to both professionals and beginners alike. The GB24JJ is their take on the classic J-Bass look but with all the features we like from Cort. This instrument is a true workhorse, you can use it on almost any style in any situations.
It has a really nice flame maple top and it comes in two finishes, 2 Tone Burst and Trans Black. Personally, I would go for the trans-black, the flame top just pops really nice in that color.
