Fender Japan has introduced the Elemental Series, a line created to satisfy the needs of contemporary players while maintaining an affordable price point.
These new instruments, which include a Jazz Bass, were redesigned by Fender Japan to fulfill their needs. They have Modern Modified humbuckers with coil-split via the tone control for the electric guitars, giving them a modern sound.
Rosewood fingerboards with 12″ radiuses provide current playability. The maple necks feature a compound shape that transitions from a modern C at the lower frets to a D at the tailpiece. Importantly, all of the guitars include a sculpted neck heel, which is typically only found on Fender’s premium American Ultra Series models.
The alder-bodied range has had a visual makeover as well, including a stunning satin finish in two colors: Stone Black and Nimbus White. We may probably anticipate future variations using the elements of fire (red) and water (blue) given the elemental theme.
These finishes are complimented by headstocks that match and an entirely new pickguard shape that only covers the lower horn in a minimalistic interpretation of a Fender design standard.
The Jazz Bass has four controls: a pickup selector, a treble boost, a bass boost, and a master volume with push/pull for active/passive. It also has a HiMass Vintage bridge for through-body stringing or top-loading.
The guitars also include Fender’s staggered tuners and knurled flat-top knobs to add to their sleek, contemporary appearance.
In a nutshell, this new jazz bass is very stunning, and it satisfies the needs of modern players who desire the Fender name on the headstock.
Additionally, they are reasonably priced for this level of specification at 170,500 ($1,244 approx.), which includes the gigbag.
