Fender just announced the new Professional II Series basses. The new flagship models will come in the classic Precision Bass and Jazz Bass options in both 4 and 5 string versions. It also comes with some new exciting features and colorways as well. Furthermore, all models come with a deluxe molded guitar case. Some good news to lefties as well, all of the above-mentioned models will come in early 2021 in left-handed versions. In addition, there will be a fretless Jazz bass version as well.

Fender describes their new line as “Played by more artists on more stages than any other series. Featuring V-Mod II pickups, fresh Fender colors, and our iconic “C”-shaped necks, these versatile instruments set the standard by which all electric guitars and basses are measured.“

Fender unveiled some new exciting colorways as well. Some of the new finishes are model-specific but here are some of the colorways: Miami Blue; black-gives-way-to-blue Dark Knight; 3-Color Burst; Silverburst-Esque Mercury; and Mystic Surf Green.
