Recently, Jackson Guitars unveiled a number of new instruments and one of those instruments was this uniquely designed bass, the X Series Concert Bass CBXNT DX IV. This guitar looks like a combination of a number of already tested and proven designs morphed into one bass. Because of all these features in one bass, this instrument can be a great addition to anyone’s collection. Jackson claims this bass will “bring the thunder to your music”. With the following specifications, we sure it will do exactly that at an affordable price.

This bass got an upgraded electronics, an active 3-band EQ that will give you that extra punch and grunt to your sound. Pairing these electronics with Jackson’s J pickup at the bridge and P style pickup in the neck position will be a perfect compliment to these electronics. The PJ configuration will give you a lot of tonal options. The P pickup gives you the classic rumbling sound we all know and love. Together with the J pickup, it will be a versatile and useful bass in many different musical styles.

The neck is a 34″ scale length which got paired with a poplar body. The neck got an extra touch that will keep your neck more stable. It has a graphite-reinforced neck-through body design. It also has 24 jumbo frets.

The feature that caught our attention on this bass is the brand-new chrome Jackson Bass Bacher IV string-through-body hardtail bridge. It takes similarities from the classic Rickenbacker designs which gives a unique aesthetic to the body. It also has sealed die-cast tuning pegs which will keep your tuning more stable.
