The Winter 2021 edition of the Ernie Ball Music Man Ball Family Reserve instruments, which includes this amazing-looking fretless bass, has been unveiled.
Over its ash body, the BFR Stingray 5 Special Fretless is finished in Fuego, a special Cherry burst finish. The flame figured roasted maple neck is paired with a fretless fingerboard and matching headstock.
“This instrument provides all of the iconic Ernie Ball Music Man punch and growl we all know and love. This is due to a single humbucking pickup with neodymium magnets and a freshly improved 3-band EQ,” the company claims.
Gold hardware from EBMM completes the aesthetic. This Ernie Ball Music Man Ball Family Reserve model is limited to only 105 pieces globally. It costs $2,999 and can be ordered now.
