The new Nordstrand V2 Acinonyx bass is outfitted with three classic-style single-coil alnico 5 pickups and a push-button pickup switching technology. This system employs individual on/off switches for each pickup, allowing for any desired combination.
The fourth switch is a series modulator that connects the center pickup to one of the other pickups. With a tone control (extra dark roll-off), the offered tones are firmly rooted in the enormous fat punch of the original Acinonyx. On the other hand, the three single coil platform expands the tonal palette with rich, detailed open, and soaring vintage character.
