From July 29 to July 31, the iconic Newport Jazz Festival returns to beautiful Fort Adams State Park. A couple of days ago, on March 24, Newport Jazz Festival released its 2022 lineup which will feature extremely special performances from a number of top artists.
This year’s festival will include performances from artists such as Esperanza Spalding, The Fearless Flyers Norah Jones, Terence Blanchard, PJ Morton, Lettuce, Cory Wong, The Ron Carter Quartet, BADBADNOTGOOD, Nate Smith + KINFOLK, Jason Moran & The Bandwagon, Nicholas Payton Trio, Maria Schneider Orchestra, Yussef Dayes, Antonio Sanchez & Bad Hombre, Mononeon, Emmet Cohen Trio, The Nth Power, Theon Cross, Thana Alexa: Ona, Lady Blackbird, Tuba Skinny, Samara Joy, Melanie Charles, Giveton Gelin, Holly Bowling, and Laufey to name a few.
3-Day General Admission Tickets and 3-Day Student Tickets go on sale at 11 am Thursday, March 24. Children under the age of ten attend for free. Per ticketed adult, two children are admitted for free. A Student General Admission Ticket is required for all pupils aged 10 and up. All tickets are available for purchase at www.newportjazz.org/tickets. Single-day and two-day tickets will be available at a later date.
