The Smile Unveil Live At Montreux Jazz Festival Album

Recently, The Smile unveiled their next live album, The Smile At Montreux Jazz Festival July 2022. This live album is available starting on Wednesday, December 14. It contains seven track from the band’s debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention performed live at Montreux Jazz Festival.

The Smile are following in the footsteps of artists like Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Wu-Tang Clan, Nile Rodgers, and Anna von Hausswolff by uploading their performance from the Montreux Jazz Festival. As a venue that allows artists artistic freedom, the festival has a long history of showcasing iconic moments in music culture.

The Smile are still on tour in the USA and Canada. They visited NPR last month to record for their renowned Tiny Desk series. On Tuesday, January 3, the special set will air on NPR’s YouTube account.
